**If I didn't add you please list the date your app was received, started processing, when you received AIP/DM, what date you are landing and city your landing in (fill in what applies) and I will add you ASAP. If I messed up any of your data please inform me. I sometimes make errors so forgive me. Also, if it appears that your AIP date is different it is because by the time e-Cas updates you on it, the decision had been made 2 days before that. So that is what I put. Please confirm with your AIP letter date if you feel it is wrong and I can correct if it is.**

They started processing our Application November 29, 2010
They transferred our file to the Local office here in Edmonton August 8, 2011
We updated our file at the local office January 2012
We are planning another small update to our file April 1, 2012

Good morning everyone.....sorry for not having good news to share  

I just finished a call with call center and I'm wondering maybe I should not call them anymore since I've been being more and more disappointed every time when I finished the call. I've called 3 times since last November and I got 3 different answers from them. The answers include "wait until March 2012", then "wait until May", and the CIC lady now just told me "everything looks good, you only need to wait the final decision, maybe is around July"......    JULY??!!    and all I can do was telling her "thank you, good bye"

I've started felt I'm an idiot since I didn't apply OWP when I got AIP. Because my bf and I are planning to move to other city as soon as we finished the PR processing, even though I did know that my processing will take longer than some other people because I have a non-accompany kid outside Canada but I really don't know it will take that long when we've provided everything at the beginning already.

Sorry....I know it's all my personal problems, and I know I'm not the only one still waiting, I should not complaining like a baby. I just have no place to tell the feeling....Please forgive me.

I'm with you. I got AIP in April. Still waiting. 11 monts so far...

My AIP was Nov 30, my medical expired around Dec 10, and I got the DM letter Feb 7. Landed Feb 27. Hope that helps.

I wish I had more answers! Apparently no one seems to know the rough estimation between re-doing the medical and getting the landing letter. I've also read that when they give you the 90 days, thats how long they get back to actually looking into the file. I hope it's not anoter 90 days. ;_;

I mean surely there's someone else on this message board who has had to re-do their medical at the VERY end of their process.

I called CIC today to confirm what they attached on my file on Feb 19th which shows on my E-CAS recentely.

And the agent said it was my new passport copy, and he said that they were just waiting for the remaining background check done, which is the security part. He also said my fingerprints was one of them and it was done, which is the criminality part.

Then I asked him how low I shall still wait, he said check again in a month I might get decision made then. And this is much more encouraging than what another agent told me last time that I could wait another 4 months!

they gave me 90 days to attach additional info and i sent it february 13 and it was attached february 22

Does your attachment info appear online?  Anna and I were also given 90 days.  They received the passport update/meds (minus x-ray) mid dec, and still no updates showing up online.
