Hi everyone, so i checked ecas last night and on my wife's sponsorship application has gone to "Decision Made". On the permanent residence application it still says "in process" but says the following in detail bellow:

We received S**** application for permanent residence on December 1, 2010.

We started processing S****application on January 27 2011.

We transferred S**** application to the CIC Vancouver Admissions office on October 27, 2011. The CIC Vancouver Admissions office may contact S****

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made and S*** will be contacted.

I've already had my interview and it was to prove we were a legit. Couple and we passed. So is this 1st stage approval or second? Thanks to any responses

I think it's AIP...as I know, it would show "a letter sent to XXXX (your address) on XXX (the date) if it was second stage approved.

crazylucy mine wa recieved on august 26 and they just added it on tuesday

i just today to confirm which additional document they attached to my file and she said  my police check and passport.......i send the police check on august 19 and the passport on November 3, 2011......now am waiting

Do you guys have any idea what's that landing interview about? what kind of questions they will ask? any tips for that 15 mins interview? thank you for your help in advance. i will let know guys know how it goes on 21st!

The interview is really just a formality. They ask you to confirm the info in their computer, you sign papers and your sponsor agrees to the agreement...From what I've been told anyways.

**If I didn't add you please list the date your app was received, started processing, when you received AIP/DM, what date you are landing and city your landing in (fill in what applies) and I will add you ASAP. If I messed up any of your data please inform me. I sometimes make errors so forgive me. Also, if it appears that your AIP date is different it is because by the time e-Cas updates you on it, the decision had been made 2 days before that. So that is what I put. Please confirm with your AIP letter date if you feel it is wrong and I can correct if it is.**

I would appreciate if the following member could update me on their files: Bluesky2010 on their AIP date. Thanks!

Luckjinx, under your wife's ecas... you should see two steps under your name. if the DM appears on your 1st step, it means you got AIP for stage one, the 2nd stage follows should show "in progress"

you got "DM" , "DM" on both section, it means you got both stage approved... hope this help. cheers.

Thanks leo_liu.

The landing interview is just a formality. They make sure everything is typed right, they take the PR photos and fee if you haven't paid yet, have you sign some documents, tell the sponsor and applicant of their rights and responsibilities, then you're set. This is just an example but it really very easy. No actual "interview" is conducted just more of a checkup on things.
