Hmm.. I dont know if everyone receives this letter requesting more info. I received a letter abt two months ago requestinginfo ie. they wanted me to put down what exactly i have been doing since November 2009 to present. qI dont really know the criteria they are using for sending these letters and am confused why i got it and clearly not everyone is getting them although we are all pretty much in the same boat.. |

I sent my application in mid january. I havent recieved any such letter or request from CIC
it worries me too cause not everyone is receiving these letters. does anyone have any insight?/ heheh |

Maybe it's got something to do with where you are? We're in S. Ontario, and she does some volunteer work with a local charity, so my guess is that maybe they were after some clarification in that area. Maybe if your name doesn't pop up in anynetworks, they assume you're doing nothing? Not really sure, wish I could be more helpful - for what it's worth, the folks on here who know more than I do usually say "with CIC, no news is good news", maybe if they didn't ask you for an update, they don't need one and now you're ahead of us? Good luck, keep us posted! |

No, we didn't either. We are not sure how to feel bout it either. Just hoping it is one less this holding up our case |

So may be they have all my records already .. i hope :s |

Hey there!. For me, they requested information about what i have been doing in Canada since the day i arrived. Ie.. my work history from exacrly the date i arrived in canada until now.., my volunteer history from the date i arrived until now etc. Also just to mention, i applied for aan open work permit together with my application. so maybe that is why?. How many of us applied for open work permits??. |
