Do you guys know if you don't be asked for additional information is a good thing or not! I have not been asked for anything as of yet, and I don't know why! For example my medical was expired in January and I have not being asked to get a new one, is that normal, or it is not required to process first stage approval...........I am really getting nervus.....

I hope you enjoyed your weekend with Hubby and getting ready for a new week that you might hear something good...........I was expecting you to update the chart today, but it seems you were asleep al day long..........I did send my FOSS the other day, and I hope I will get something next week........Did you send a cover sheet when you faxed in your FOSS notes request?

Oh I am so sorry dear. This past week I have been running on like 4 hours of sleep every day and the past two days have been extremely busy and almost staying up for 24 hours. I certainly will tonight since I just woke up. Sorry for the lack of update to it but we can't control how our schedule for everyday will go. I am definitely excited to think we might hear something this week. I certainly hope we do and that it is good news too. Congrats on sending out your FOSS note request. No, we didn't fax a cover sheet with it. I am not sure about the additional information bit but I have always heard that no news it good news. I was never asked to update my client history like some people have but I hear that is good. Also, don't worry with the medical. The IO's have right to extend the validity of them so they probably already did that with yours. If not they can extend them after AIP for sure or they will ask you get new ones. If they don't ask for new ones then you can be assured then you are okay.

Hello Friends,
Boasorte how are you? Your police clearance arrived or not yet? I am in third week of waiting for police clearance from my country of origin as soon as it will arrive, I will send it to immigration. Is there anyone also in inland catagory waiting for the same thing?!

Hi Mark_Anna, I am fine, thanks, yourself?

In my country depending which city one is from the police certificates can be requested through the internet. Since I have no criminal record they issued it within a couple of days but if I had any criminal record I wouldn't be able to get them over the internet.

I got them mid-april and have already sent them in, hoping that they will be attached to my file in July, and I will have to wait a while after that too.

Send the Certificates as soon as you have it and don't forget to write a cover letter explaining each of the attached documents and your ID number.

I have a question. Usually I have been checking the status of my papers thru E-CAS but it is really frustrating to find the "in process" all the time. Do you think it worth to call from time to time, instead of using the e-cas?

By the way guys I have noticed that most people are informed on e-Cas two days after the letter was sent out.
I am predicting I will see something on e-Cas on May 11th but thinking of calling on the 9th or 10th.
When do you guys think I will get news? P.S. Just doing it for fun.

Well, the day finally arrived!!!!  Yesterday afternoon, right before I left work, I got through to CIC and verified that on April 26th I received AIP and, apparently, my OWP (which I do not even remember applying for)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to everyone else who has also received good news this week.

Congratulations!!! did u check in ecas? Does it say decision made? On mine it says "decision made" and people in this forum tell me that when you see decision made it is AIP and PR at the same time....Hope so!!
