Today I got good news when I called the call centre....Our sponsorship was approved in principle yesterday, and my OWP was issued....after 1 year and 8 days....

Application received: 06 April 2010
Documents requested: 29 Dec 2010
Documents sent: 22 Feb 2011
Documents attached: 30 March 2011

I know this is not the end of my immigration journey because the background checks are yet to come, but I'm happy I can finally start work

When I click on that link it still says June 6. I also tried to refresh my screen and it still says June 6. It doesn't really matter but I just want to know why I cannot see the same dates as you.

Hi, how is everyone today?
I won't be on here long today though. Still so happy to see all this good news.
I had gotten an update on my e-Cas tracker the other day but did not think to check e-Cas myself.
It also now tells our address. That is pretty cool and at least I know they have the address right, eh? 

Anyway, I would appreciate if everyone would try to refrain from posting new updates to your application for at least 15-20 minutes because I am now going to try to update the chart. And as usual I will fix the problems later and let me know if I get something wrong.
Feel free to still post and talk for now just not updates about your application status. Thanks everyone!

I found a websiteof a company which business is to assit people to obtain the CONSTANCIA DE DATOS REGISTRALES (or Constancia de no antecedentes penales) from mexico.

Yes, my mom. But she lives in another city and she will have to go 2 to mexico city by airplane 'cause by car is about 2 days driving, so it will be expensive (about $1000) and besides my mom doesn't know Mexico City. She lives in a small town and Mexico City is intimidating for her.

It's very neat to see it under my ID number, it shows both the sponsorship approval and the information about the PR.

it s funny. yesterday on the CIC website on my computer appeared the date i think 13 or 14 th of june, today when i go on their website it says june 6....are they going backwards?

If you haven't send the Police check, you will receive a letter from CIC with a checklist requesting you to get the police report from your country and to go and get your fingerprints at a local office so the RCMP can do a background check on you.

After that, they will sending you the landing interview date (that's what i think).

They probably didn't request your fingerprints because you are still a refugee claimant and therefore they already got your fingerprints in file.

When you applied for refugee, they took your fingerprints, right? Did you pay the right of Permanent residence fee already? If not, have you been asked for it?  

 If you already paid it (or you have been asked to paid) you would be receiving your landing interview letter very soon.

Usually they give you a landing interview date with 3-4 weeks notice.

I think it usually both AIP and PR when it shows "medical results received".
Or it has appeared to follow that way on here for some members at least.

It would be great if it was PR for you too.
I secretly hope that I am approved for both at the same time but I will just happy with at least AIP.
