Hi! My Sponsorship and work permit application was received at vegreville on June 23rd 2010. I have never been able to log on to E-Cas, I received a letter from them in january requesting info on where I live and worked since I submitted my application.
Today I noticed that they are now on to June 14th so I treid to log on to E-Cas again... and it worked!!!
It says my app was received on June 23rd, they started processing it on September 3rd, and they received the requested info on march 15th. Doesn't say anything about a decision yet.
What are the next steps? We get a letter saying whether or not I can stay?? That should be in about another week or 2 right? (depending on how fast/slow they work).
Hi Sophie, looks like we have applied on the same date. I haven't heard anything yet as well, but hoping to hear something this week. Fingers crossed. I will update you if I hear anything. ! Are there anybody else who has the same situation as I am? Your e-Cas number is the client id listed on your resident permit. It takes 9-10 months (really more like 10 months) to get AIP and then you will get the work permit if you sent the permit with the PR application. And then it can take another 9 months to get PR interview. So the whole process can be anywhere from 12-18 months if not longer for some rare instances. When I post the chart update you will be able to see more people that applied in the same time you did. |

The client id number is listed on your temporary status, it is an 8 didget number example: 5555-5555 go to www.cic.gc.ca and enter the number and proceed from there. |

whiteapple, a more direct link would be this: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=enYou will need to enter your surname, birth date, and also country of birth (I think is is birth maybe country of residence). And as TeresaLynn said, it is an 8 digit number in this format 5555-5555 on your temporary resident permit. |
