Does anybody live is Montreal?  Does anyone know how long the Montreal office takes to send you a landing interview letter after requesting the verification of your info and the fee payments? And for how long after is the interview schedule in the letter??? I sent the verification of my information by email and fax 2 mondays ago, and there is nothing coming in the mail, does anyone has any info about it? Thanks, |

BIG SH....   This is killing me, do you have idea of anyother timeline for this case?  I sent mine on March 21st, a week after you but I sent the papers by email and fax. Why Montreal is taking so long??  Sorry I knew you told me, just though you forgot about me and I really had the hope that you already receives your letter. Anyways, if pls there is any news?? I will let you know as soon as I know something. |

Hello Everyone.. just check my email and got the update from E-CAS Finally, my status says.. Decision Made.. Not in Process anymore.. We received your application for permanent residence on April 30, 2010. We started processing your application on July 13, 2010. Medical results have been received. We received the requested information on February 2, 2011. Thank you for providing the information. A decision has been made and you will be contacted. ( Feb 24, 2011) We sent you a letter on March 28, 2011 to ........ about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us. This is about a month and 4 days after I got AIP and OWP. Have a nice Day.. and will let you know about next step..    Congrats! |

I just got the letter in the mail box
Landing interview: Tuesday, April 19th, 2011
Time : 8.30 am in Lethbridge, Alberta (Where I live)
Its really fast... I just got the E-cas update this morning that they sent out the letter on March 28. Today is March 30!!
Hope everyone hears the good news sooon..

Holy s*** I just go to check my email as a routine thing and the ecas tracker (that I had to renew because I had already waited 6 months with not being able to sign in) updated me saying that my e-cas was active. I was so afraid it would say something bad though. This is what it says: "We received your application for permanent residence on July 16, 2010.
We started processing your application on September 22, 2010.
We received the requested information on January 13, 2011. Thank you for providing the information."
Which means they did get my FBI clearance and did attach it. Hopefully I don't need a new one though. And yes I know this isn't as big as AIP or PR but I jumped up and down because I have NEVER been able to sign into e-cas until now after almost 9 months. Their doing something with my file that is for sure. Eeekk....
