 Shocked

Hi Everyone, thought I would say hi - Ive been reading this forum for awhile but never really had anything to ad - Until now!!!
I was wondering if any other inlanders have had issues with the phone self service checking on the application status.
My application was received by Vegreville August 11th 2010 and for the longest time thats all it said when I called and if I check ECAS I have no access (which seems to be normal from other posts!!). Thought I would try again tonight and now it says we will transfer you to a call centre agent - obviously its after hours and I am now panicking!!!! I sent a PR with OWP application and i have been on Implied Status as a worker since August 30, 2010
Any advice is really appreciated

hi

According to CIC, I don't think you'll get any info before AIP via Ecas. My friend who sent her app at the end of Aug 2010, she got an answer from call center that she will get something around June.....

Hope it helps...

AmandaHsu -

I have sent in my inland application in August 15th, 2010 and I have not received anything since then. I was blessed with a baby in past October (2010), and I want to send a copy of my child's birth certificate in-order to support and reinforce our sponsorhsip application, but I am not able to because I don't an application number. Any suggestions please!

Thanks

Hi Mona

I'll suggest you to call or mail CIC to get the answer. Or if you have your client number which can be found on your work permit/visitor record then you can send it to

Hello All

I am just another person who has been behind the scenes all this while.
I do check this thread sincerely on a daily basis .

I am in the same boat like others here.
Heres my story :
- Came to study at a Canadian University in 2002
-Geaduated in 2007
- Secured post graduate work permit and started working fulltime in june 2007
- Been employed for the same employer since
- Married my GF (who is Canadian) of 5 years in Feb 2010.
- I had 2 options , to apply under the experienced class or Inland
- We applied Inland (including OWP)
Have been checking my Ecas regularly and this is what it says today

We received your application for permanent residence on May 27, 2010.

We started processing your application on August 9, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

Does anybody know what this means?
Please advise.

That's good news. It sounds like you got 1st and 2nd stage approval at the same time. That's what my ecas said 2 weeks ago. I got my landing letter yesterday and I will land on April 13. Congrats!!! You applied on may 27th and their website says they're processing up to may 16. That's TWO weeks ahead! wow!

Im sorry to tell you this but I believe they may have doubts about your relationship so you usually have to wait for an interview which will be done at the local office near you unless you send in more information about your relationship sometimes they wave the interview.

Edit* Or maybe AIP and landing at the same time ?

Stay strong
