I GOT AIP! Just got the letters.
I had call them on Thursday and the agent said that they had sent me a letter regarding my app. on March 16th. I asked him if it had been transferred or it was to request more documents and he said it was AIP letter. It doesn't say anywhere it's AIP, but I believe/hope it is.

However, they are now requesting Police Certificate from my country which is Brazil. The wait is not yet over.

I am happy anyways, going to apply for my OWP.

CONGRATS !!! great news

Now half the stress is over!
Hey janadian did you have a tracking no. ? If so check who signed for it!
Cic is notorious for possibly just sending your stuff to a wrong office !
For me I was lucky and my io intervened and found my Medicals all the way in buffalo !
Crazy stuff happens at Cic but fingerprints are no joke !
If you have a tracking no check who signed for the package then call
Best of luck!

Congrats Boasorte!!! A long time waiting but now you are getting so much closer! Getting OWP will be fantastic and then you can look for work, hope you get a job quickly if that is what you want! Definitely get onto that police certificate and pay extra if you can to get faster service! I did for my UK one and it was worth it. Smiley WHoo Hoo celebration time!!!!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH EVERYBODY !

Yes I did, but for some reason they want new ones, probably the docs. have expired. For Brazil they require 3. I already got 2 of them, now working on getting the third one. Smiley

I am excited, I was seriously expecting an interview and all the delays of having one.

Love always wins, always!

I will land on April 13 so in all, my entire application will be 11 mths exactly including landing! Not bad at all for an inland app. I was pleasantly surprised to see the letter from Scarborough CIC in my mailbox today Grin

Let's hope the good news continue for the rest of us in our thread Wink
