FAILURE TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION WITHIN 30 DAYS RESULT IN A DECISION BEING REDERED IN REGARDS TO YOUR ABILITY TO MEET THE STATUTORY REQUIREMENT.


NOW THE PROBLEM IS PASSPORT MACHINE IN MY EMBASSY HAS BEEN OUT OF SERVICE FOR SOME TIME NOW...I CALLED THEM AND I AM TRAVELLING TO OTTAWA TOMORROW TO GET A LETTER FROM THE CONSULATE EXPLAINING WHY I CANT BE ISSUED PASSPORT.

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE EVER SEEN A SETUATION WHERE SOMEONE WAS LANDED WITHOUT PASSPORT.

I don't want to alarm you but I know someone who was going through the Sydney Australia office and there was a postal strike the mail didn't get through and they got the letter late and ran out of time. They had to apply again from the startwith new forms and police checks etc!

Is there any other embasy you could get a passport from- maybe ask them if from a different embassy?  If not then I would be printing off the forms and paying the extra to get it delivered like yesterday and paying for the 24 hour service and then get them to send it back. I wouldn't mess around. Have you ever had a passport?

Good luck I hope the letter works and I really don't know if you would be able to land without a passport.....

Yip, totally background checks and each time I call they mention the the medical has been extended as it was done back in 09! As long as I have PR by Sep I should be good on that front. Heard if medical all ok they can extend it for up to a year more....which is what they seem to have done.

Have you ordered foss notes yet?

Celebrations are going to be MASSIVE!!!

Well I can't wait for all of us waiting to get AIP and PR. Will be a glorious day when that chart is pretty much filled up. (hopefully all approvals)

Thanks soooo much Love_Young. You along with all others have helped me keep my sanity. When I saw decision made my heart almost leaped through my mouth! As soon as my computer got fixed I headed straight to e-cas lol. Thank God  I am ending the week on a good note

Aww oh my goodness I can only imagine. I have been waiting and waiting for you to finally get that AIP. I just knew your day was coming soon. And guess what else, this will be a relief to the rest of the gang and them knowing that they are DEFINITELY still working past that darn May 4th date. Lol.

So is okay if I put your AIP date as March 7th? Since that seems to be the actual date they made the final decision.
And I bet you were especially relieved it wasn't transferred since Scarborough is one of the busier offices. Way to go girl. Proud of you.
Hopefully you will be here for me, when I about go insane near my turn. Lol.

Yes, I already ordered FOSS notes back in October , even they said waiting for security ..im so sick of waiting,,I wish I could have lessons on how to wait LOL but then you need patience which I dont have either ahaha..

ATTENTION: Another chart update!This is what I updated: I added when suenim's letter was sent for AIP approval. Congratulations girl. So proud of you. Can't wait to keep updating on AIP.
Seems like the average time it takes to get AIP now is 9 months and 22 days. Now I know that some are taking longer but for the most part it takes anywhere from 9 months and 22 days to 10 months. Hope this chart helps you all.

Thanks santacruzan and yes I think you will hear something soon too. Your just under a week behind my date. L_Y... hubby started the partying already. He is so ecstatic too. The wait was really long and hard but he was always optimistic. My computer died on Monday so it is possible my e-cas could have been updated then but I just couldn't check it. Either way... pleasant surprise  .  Here's to hoping we all keep on getting good news here. L_Y... you are everybody's rock here so I will... just like others be here to support you and offer the same peace of mind you give to others

I was assuming you two would already be celebrating. I would be too. I think the whole world will hear me scream from excitement if I am approved. Sounds like my hubby with being optimistic. He is my rock and strength. Sorry about your computer but at least you had a wonderful surprise waiting for you. And that is so very sweet of you. I really want people to feel a sense of belonging and that they aren't alone during this. I may not be that much help but I am going to try. It makes my day when I hear people say how much this thread has helped them. It is so wonderful to have all of you as a supportive family. You give me strength everyday.
