Happy birthday teresalynn and congrats to everyone who was able to log in to ecas I know the feeling. Got some more good news. Patience is really a virtue  Call cic today because I'm starting to get frustrated then my ecad still just says in process. And the agent told me the good news. I got approve aip, open work permit and the pr has been approved they sent he letter to Calgary office already and he said to wait 4 to 6 weeks to hear something from Calgary. Everyone hang in their everything is looking good with cic. Thanks everyone in this family this forum helped me a lot to stay strong |

Application received 16th June 2010
Processing started 26th August 2010

Hi guys!
Just want to introduce myself. I've been lurking around for 6 months now and I'm really thankful I have this forum that keeps me sane. We submitted our application August 12, 2010 received by Vegreville on August 16, 2010. Today for the first time we were able to access E-CAS! I know it's not much but it calms my nerves, they received it and started processing on October 3, 2010! A couple more months to go!
Little background about us: I am Canadian citizen and met my spouse while he was on a work permit here in Alberta. We fell in love, well I fell in love with him first I think. We dated and really got along. I'm divorced and have a 7 year old daughter. I've been divorced for 5 years. After dating my second husband for 2 months we decided to live together. It's a big no-no for a family as we are both practicing Catholics and actually decided to get married for my daughter's sake. I've been in and out of relationships before and the second time my daughter met my second husband she asked him if he intends to stay with us. Broke our hearts, and I asked myself was I such a bad mom for exposing her with my previous boy friends??? So then we decided, ok let's take the plunge! We've been married for 8 months now and I'm 3 months pregnant! So far so good, and I'm really enjoying this second marriage coz the first one was really BAD!

Ecas updated already. Says decision made We received your application for permanent residence on May 19, 2010. We started processing your application on July 29, 2010. Medical results have been received. A decision has been made and you will be contacted. We sent you a letter on March 30, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. |

Thanks Material Something must have happened with e-cas, I am glad they fixed and we are all able to log in now. I didn't realize there were so many people that were unable to log into e-cas. I thought i was one of the only ones, that's why i kept posting about not being able to log in. I had my chicken wings and Dairy Queen Skor ice cream cake....YUM!!! We are off to bingo shortly Wish me luck! |

I understand that and I'm very happy for you, (the sooner you get yours done, the sooner I'll get mine done)  I was thinking that "working on May 25th" meant that nothing was done with the files received after that. But, if June and July are getting updates, that means they're opening the packages and doing something with them... which is better than imagine our packages sleeping in some pile waiting to be open... |
