Eyeoftheocean inspired me to call immigration and I was advised that they are still doing background/security checks for Canada and international, but if I have not received anything or heard from them by the last week of May I am to call them back. Hopefully I will have heard something by then and that is less than the 9 months for second stage that they are currently showing. So at least that is some news and I hope that the background checks come through sooner!  Pays to call every now and then (I may still call before then lol).  Thank you!

LY - sounds like a full on dream you had, wowsers and to remember it as well.  Glad you were able to talk to your Mum about it, dreams can have so many meanings. Looking forward to the updated chart!

Well thats interesting KiwiKris, I wonder if CIC are concentrating on background/security checks right now to get through the back log ? I had to pluck up courage to call them, they prob think im a crazy women LOL ..Hey you and me may land around the same time

**POST ABOUT CHART UPDATE**
For this update I made the following changes.
For current members I updated:
Asta's landing date, YMCA's AIP date, AmandaHsu's processing date, Babyhangon's processing date, and Inlandappl's received and processing date.

Added the following new members:
Iceyqueen, mi, SssS, Lisalisalisa, and Cmilo. WELCOME!!!

If you see your information on the chart and I am missing some data, please inform me on here or in a PM. I will update it. Also, seems since February they are taking almost 10 months to get AIP. Sorry I have to inform people about that but thanks to all of you, we are able to calculate a more approximate date for all the rest of us waiting. I could never thank you enough for sharing this information with us. I hope to be updating with new AIP dates as well as Landing dates soon. Sorry for the late post but been busy between holidays and tax season. Glad I can finally get it up again though. Thanks for being patient as always.

P.S. I realize that there seems to be a lack of some AIP dates and I am sorry for this but I am suspecting that these members may not post often and prefer to go on with life after receiving AIP which is great. I just hope sometime in the near future, they will update us on any changes so I can get you the best info possible. Just bare with me.

Now now, what is with all this sad behaviour? This isn't like us here.
Now, I don't know if any of you are religious or spiritual but I don't want to step over the line of another persons religion so let me know if I do.

Recently, I had been doubting my faith in many things and always felt where I grew up that you needed to believe. It mostly began after I had gotten saved and my grandpa (the greatest man/best friend) died. My faith had kept lingering since then. But then last week I told myself, I am not going to say I don't believe or that I do. I will leave my mind open to find it for myself. Then last night, I awoke from a nightmare of sorts. In this nightmare I was portrayed in another persons body but it was me (just didn't look like myself). I was running away from a man whom by being so many feet away could turn you to stone. I don't know the mans face but I know he was portrayed as a normal everyday man. I kept looking back and running as fast as I could. I guess my feet were caught in the vicinity of where he was because my legs broke at the thigh in mid stride of running but somehow I kept going. Almost as if my energy was pushing me and was remaining in the air and the rest of my body didn't fall. All in this dream I am running down a hall (a site from my high school) and towards the end I am running toward my destination, a doorway full of light. Before I woke up, somehow he turned my tongue to stone but not the rest of me. I don't know if I made it to that light but I figure it was up to me to find that out for myself.

I felt the sudden urge to call my mom, as I knew she would have the answer for me. While trying to figure the meaning behind my dream (because I don't ever have nightmares), she said maybe you were running from the devil (sorry for the bad word there) since the he can be portrayed as any face. And the only way he could stop you was to turn you to stone. And when he couldn't stop you from pushing on (cause I kept going after my legs broke) that the only other way he could do that was to turn your tongue to stone so that you couldn't express your feelings. But even after waking up, he couldn't stop you because you let your hand put pen to paper. (Because as soon as I woke up, I had to sketch what I saw because I am a designer of sorts) She said, "You are so strong-willed that no matter the circumstances you were under, you found a way to get through to that light." And when she explained all of this, I broke down to tears. It was EXACTLY what I had been searching for. I had found my faith again and ever since then I will not doubt it again. Not in myself, relationship, life, or God. My worries are carefree and I know I am safe. I also dreamt of my grandpa not long before that part of my dream and I had not dreamt of him in years. I believe this was his way of saying he is always with me and that I have reason to keep my faith and be with him again.

You may take this as you will but I think this dream could speak for everyone no matter if it is about faith in religion or about this process. No matter the circumstances, if you are strong-willed, you will find your way through these obstacles no matter how little or big. All of you need to find this spirit within yourself. So to keep my mind on track I will be painting the same sketch I had in my dreams because that girl was me and everytime I will look at it, it will remind me how strong I can be and that no obstacle is something I can't get through. I will also be putting them on clothes once I am allowed to sell my clothing again. I am not sure if this post will make sense or why I have rambled on but I feel that maybe this post will help you find that faith in yourself, your relationship, and this process. There is no obstacle we all can't get through especially together. I hope this reaches to all of you in some way.

P.S. If are wanting a sketch, clothing, or painting of this too because you feel it will keep you on the right track then let me know. I will do one for you. And no I am not advertising anything lol, just want to keep your spirits high and plus I don't want money for this at all. You're all my family.  If it helps you then it helps me. I once heard that the thing that is on your mind/heart or what you see before you close your eyes is what you will dream about.Try it tonight. Stare at an object or think of it for 10-15 minutes before bed and see if you don't see it in your dream somewhere.

Even if your background checks come early. They will not open your file. They follow BF date(s) and work accordingly. If the call center agent is saying that if you do not hear any thing by may 2011, then that means your BF date is some where around last week of April or early May. By the way our time lines are very similar, and i am also waiting for background checks with my next BF date is set for April 28, 2011.

You can order FOSS notes and find it out. It takes a week to 10 days to receive FOSS notes.

What I meant was that if you dream that you are running from an obstacle, in real life you are not running from it, you are facing it... if you dream that your loved one is hurting you or attacking you, it means that he has not intentions of hurting you... the interpretation is that in real life is the opposite of your dream... well, that`s what I was told by a psychologist, and since then I have analyse all my nightmares and it is 99,9% accurate... BUT Im going to try to stare at the picture of my beloved one so I could dream of him  ;-)

Hubby just got asked to pay $60 to the CRA for the year 07-08. Do what?
We called about it and apparently they messed up saying we were in a common law relationship in 2008 instead of on the 2009 return. Ugh...
Now we have to mail them a letter explaining the correct date and evidence of our marriage certificate for our new relationship status. The man said they will take the $60 out of his refund since technically he owes it but that they will reimburse him when they correct the error. That is all fine and dandy but hubby is already supposed to get almost $300 less than he thought he would get on his refund. Does anyone know what the provincial/territorial tax is? That is what the are taking the almost $300 out for on the return. (We are using Ufile) Was I doing right by linking our returns even if we mail separately? Anyway these financial stresses are getting under my skin lately. Might as well get used to it because this is going to be life from here on out, isn't it? I can only hope CIC is more understanding than the CRA. I feel like I am running on a hamster wheel and can't get out. Round and round I go.

Oh very VERY interesting canadiancitizen, thank you for sharing that. I did not know this. So do you think I had a fairly accurate interpretation of my nightmare then? And I analyze everything in life, always been that way. I am very intuitive and creative by nature. If I don't delve into my emotions and thoughts then I don't feel like myself. I was battling this when I first got to Canada but I am slowly getting it back. And yeah and stare at a picture of your loved one. He will be there. Let me know tomorrow when you say you him in your dream.

Congrats to all AIPS,s and landing dates!.

i still havent heard anything and im not even worried about it yet!!... i know im pretty close but right now im working for 72 hours a week so im not even thinking about it/ stressed about it!!. if im landed in may or June or July,,... ill be fine with it!.. im not planning any trips and im working and making some money so im pretty happy right now.
Also, its no use checkingn everyday because you just get stressed!!...
I cant believe i have two jobs now and i LOVE both jobs!!..

ive not called my IO yet because im too busy . i mean when they get it theyll contact me right?. If its june/july which will be the 187 monthjs then ill start gettign worried!.

Also, i realise majority of us on that list have not landed!. So everyone RELAX! (I know easier said tha done!) we are all in this together!. Every week is a new week!. Dont call teh Hotline!. THEY KNOW NOTHING!....., they will give you little to no information which will add to the depression!!.. Keep yourselves occupied if you have OWP and focus on something else and trust me before you know it... everyone will be landed!..
