Hi all, I want to apply INLAND PR APPLICATION for my wife who is visiting me here. We had our first son born here in Canada in January 2011 and he is Canadian by birth.
My question is that DO WE NEED TO MENTION HIM IN THE APPLICATION UNDER DEPENDENT CHILDERN SECTION. Th question is confusing as it says DO not include family members who are canadian citzens or PR.
Please advise.
Thanks

Bcaz inland processing take 18 months, and our outland visa post takes 21 months to process the PR application

If you read closely on the form it says
Do not include your sponsors and family members who are -Canadian Citizen -Permanent residents of Canada
Since you son is Canadian Citizen, therefore you do not need to include him on the application
That portion is only for people who are in Canada but not a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Thanks. The form contains the text that I highlighted in my reply and it is also noted in the post from adzees.

I don't believe there is a specific OWP (open work permit) form. Use IMM 1249 - Application to Change Conditions, Extend My Stay, or Remain in Canada. Write “open work permit” at the top. Start here http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/applications/work.asp
