Hi Angtao;

first of all so sorry about that for bother you... i didn't check other immigrations topics... I work in 3 jobs so i have no time to search correct topics in this forum.. However, i didn't know that about this forum has 2010 thread...

i got PR already, this is My fiance immigration process... As much as possible, im try to get more details about that...

Couple days ago, i saw my friend, and she had PR just 2 months ago... she told me about her process...
I was confuse about stages and other some processing things... thats why, i wrote down my questions write away... But I guess, my question was very simple for you..

Next time, if i have time to search, i will do it... I haven't done before like this forums...

Thanks for your friendly answer...

yumamy, I hope I didn't come off as sounding like a *censored word*. I didn't mean to. It is just sometimes frustrating to always answer the same questions over and over again. Don't feel like you can't ask. I know we are all busy people here too.

I sent more proof to CIC today. Hope it gets safe there and they will open it and attach the info to my main file.

May everyone have a good weekend. And since they had just two day jump, next week must be like 10 days jump or something... Tongue

Angtao, I think it is good idea to join on FB - if anyone wants to be friends send me real names and I will be happy to become friends!!! We are all big immigrating family here!

I sent mine to Vegreville on Aug 22. and, apparently, they've only just opened it.

uk2canada - can you log into eCas? What was the date your application was received? Was in August 22 or November 2? Is November 2 your 'In progress' date?

angtao and people, don't know if anyone asked this question before.
When you enter clientID into eCas, does it accept xxxx-xxxx or xxxxxxxx or both?
I skimmed on all posts in 2010 and 2011 threads but didn't see anyone asked or I might miss the answer around or just I'm the most stupid here.
Please give me an advice guys! Thanks in advance.

I have been facing this problem lately in regard to my police clearance which I realized now. I have lived in Singapore, US and my native country for more than 6 months since reaching the age of 18 and When I filed my application, the police certs were a couple weeks beyond 3 months range.

At the time of application, Singapore doesn't want to issue the Police certificate to non-citizen unless immigration appeal them to issue to me. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/singapore.asp
Also my FBI clearance was 3 months and 2 weeks old and my native country's police clearance was 4 months old.

Does it make a difference as I left my native country like 8 years ago  and have not lived there more than 6 months since them. Also I have not gone back to singapore since 2007 and also I have left US since 2010 and I have been living in canada since then. I requested FBI clearance a week before leaving US.

Or Should i request FBI clearance and Police certificate now and send them to CIC to attach with my application ?

Dont know what to do with singapore COC clearance as I have to wait for appeal letter from CIC? Should I approach CIC and ask them to send me the letter own my own or wait to hear from them?
