Inland Application 2011

I guess I'm not on that list as I couldn't confirm the date my application arrived in July. I sent it off July 19, via xpresspost, so two business days should of got it there July 21. Problem is the Canada Post reciept was damaged leaving the tracking number unreadable. Sadly Canada Post has no way of finding the tacking number on their end, so I have no way to confirm that my original application did in fact arrive.

I spoke to CIC last week and they said just re-send it as a duplication with an explanation cover letter, if my July one did arrive they will start processing that one and my September duplicate will not effect the process. Did this and my duplicate arrived today

...It's already been a stressful process.

Oh dear, you were stressed out at the beginning already, sorry to hear that dear. Let's say you're still earlier than me more than a month, still there is a reason to cheer up! Praying for all of us.

what time do they update the processing times on the CIC website?

Here is what I found from Thread 2010, written in my own words:

This is updated every Wednesday. This is where you can see what applications they are approving now.
And of course CIC never follows any schedule, that day was observed from people in that thread, not officially from CIC.
Sometimes, CIC didn't update for more than 2 weeks as those guys in thread 2010 claimed.
The website could show updates at night too.

They can update it at anytime of the day. I have seen it in the morning and the afternoon. I have also seen them update it on Thurs and Fri but have Wednesdays date on it. You never know with CIC.

Angus, when we sent our Expresspost, we gave them our e-mail address and they e-mailed out tracking number right away. Do you not have it on e-mail?

My post office never gave me that option and I had no idea that was a possibility

EDIT: However, just read this from 'tozo' on the 2010 inland thread "Hi guys,don't worry too much ....the received my application on October 27,2010 and just got my AIP just last Friday September 16,CIC is way ahead.November applicant get ready to receive good news.stay positive "

Ya, I saw that Angus. It sucks but we do know that they are working ahead of schedule.

Naz, are you trying to log in to e-cas? Do you have a client id number? Or are you trying to check to see the jump today? You do not need to log-in to check the jump.

haha - yes apparently it's the same Client number I've had for the past 6 years (silly me).

Just logged on and all it's saying is "We received your application for permanent residence on July 21, 2011."

So it's not 'In Process' yet.

Oh wow. Not in process yet? Vegreville has slowed down then. It takes them 2-2.5 months for them to open a file. Your should be opened in the next 2 weeks. I honestly do not think it makes a difference when it goes in process. We all still have to wait the 11 months.

This really sucks. It is now 11 months. That is terrible!

So many people from Inland 2010 got approved this week. Too bad they just jumped only 4 days; aren't back from vacation yet?
