Scottish lass: Have you looked at the Post Graduation Work Permit? Hi I am currently here on a student visa, doing a PhD, and my student visa expires in Sep 2012. I also have a temporary work permit which also expires Sep 2012 (it's tied to my student visa) I am a wee bit concerned that the PR application won't be done by the time my current visa runs out in Sep 2012,patiently with you all |

Welcome Wery. I love seeing our list grow everyday.
canadian, I wonder when we will see our 1st April applicant. I am sure we will see them soon. It is funny though.
It sucks that there was no jump today and it I also noticed that it is now taking 10-11 months. That freakin sucks:( I am so pissed. Does anyone know if things start moving quickly again in September? Are the 12 day jumps gone forever?
I am also very happy that today I have hit the 5 month mark. Another 5.5 months to go.

Can someone tell me how long it takes since they show case in process. I have applied on 18th August (posted that day). I tried using the payment reference number but its not showing any detail.
Can someone also tell me, can we see the ECAS if we applied for Visitor Extension like we do for PR?

They seem to always have jumps like that before holidays/vacation. It will get faster again from now until Christmas but be prepared for a backlog after Christmas again. |

Hi Cangaceiro, I just logged into CIC website under "Home > On-Line Services > Client Application Status" and followed the instructions. I got the client-id number from my current workpermit. |
