I heard that CIC is trying to get to a 6 month mark as a goal. I hope that is true.

I'm just a lurker here and never submitted my application yet. Just want to ask if fingerprints taken in Canada should be included on the application for inland? Any replies would be appreciated from anybody.

Hello Everyone! Im new in this forum, hope there is space for me here ... I Filed my application on Jan 7th 2011 and it was received by Jan 12, 2011. I am not able to look the status online on the e-cas application, so I dont know if the application is in process or not. Can anyone help me with this?? Thanks! |

My husband did do his Canadian fingerprints and sent them off with the application. I am not sure if it says so on the application as we hired someone to help us but our immigration consultant said we should do it to cut down on time should they ask us for it.

Dominican22, you can call CIC and ask them what your Client ID# is and they will give it to you. Then you can log-in to e-cas and check to see when your file became in process or maybe you can just ask CIC when it became in process.

Same as angtao's husband i did my fingerprints too to send them together with our application, just in case, in the application guide says you dont need to unless CIC request it, but like angtao says... just to cut down on time if they ask for it. |

Thanks Angtao! I promise I'll keep you guys informed. I called the inmigration office, and they said they cant give me the ID Client # until Septiember!  I guess there is nothing else I can do but wait now. |
