First check with Canada post if they successfully delivered your documents. Sometimes they screw up in delivery.
If they did delivered ,then it takes only 9 days for your information to be entered into CIC system.
Otherwise keep calling CIC to ascertain if the information is in the system

Congratulations to the new PR, AIP,:)... I think the CIC agents went on vacation (March's break) as well, students for 1 week, CIC agents 2 weeks... love to be a public servant!!!... anyhow... we dont have too many people in April... please please bring May!!!!

Hi,.. the sponsor needs to have an ID number, because we are in Quebec, I got my ID number when I received MICC letter, but you can get it by calling CIC... but is the sponsor who should call though... the Applicant and Sponsor do the same when entering on the sponsor E-cas file, ![]() |

There are quite a few different options. You should look at the E-cas site to figure out which one you have. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=enFor example, you can use the receipt number, the surname of the sponsor, their date of birth and their country of birth to look up an application. Or you can use the file number, the surname of the applicant, their date of birth and their country of birth to look up an application. Or the client ID of the applicant, etc. |

i sent some information that CIC requested last July but they never updated it in my e-cas and also i ve sent some pictures and proof of relationship that they did not request still i see nothing in my e-cas!
Where do you think i will see the updates?

CIC website updated just now. Processing April 30, 2011 applications now (another 19-day jump) Ya just saw. But my ecas still says they are they received my application on 29th April and still processing it. Do you have any idea how long does it take to update that? |
