I called today and it just said when my application was received. I have the client ID number. I used it to log in to the CIC website last week. This week I tried and now its saying they can not find me... im a bit confused... Today it said application was received but it didnt say that they started processing it(when i called in). Last week when I checked on the CIC it said that they started to process it April 8th... im a bit worried....

Anyone know why...I did have to update my address on there since they had my right address but our apt number was not there.. I updated it so we would not miss anything they send out...  Could that have affected it?? I am thinking i should call and talk to an agent but every time I call it hang ups on me after a few rings.. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't try to get too worried right now as for example I wasn't even able to sign into e-Cas for 8 months. It also should be noted that it isn't a very reliable service. But the main reason I say not to be worried just yet is because they are changing the server to a new one and unfortunately they have to do this little by little. So until they finish putting in the new system, you may have some glitches here and there when trying to sign into e-Cas. For any further information on the new system, I would ask rjessome, which is whom I found the information from. Also, as mentioned, it could be for updating your address. I say it will work itself out just fine.

Now we are just waiting to hear from fleo and jadarius on when there files went in to process. I work full time and I still have all this time on my hands to do our chart. LOL

The next time we hear something is probably going to be in November on fleo's file which is about 6 months away. The wait continues unless they start processing faster. Come on CIC Vegreville!

Inlandappl, they are opening up the files faster but the 10 month wait is still terrible.

Not going to lie, I am a bit jealous of these "20 day" processing dates. I mean, WOW where did this come from.
And in all fairness angtao, I think that at least during the 10 month wait they are trying to get both the first stage and second stage approval out of the way. I remember that not even a couple of years ago, it was very rare to even get approved for both at the same time and was considered VERY lucky. Now look just in the other thread, now it is not uncommon to see it. To me, I really think that if it is straight forward and has all the required documents then they are going to try and approve for both within that time limit if they can. I think this is wonderful and makes the 10 month wait even more worth it. Wouldn't you think?


CONGRATS to all of the 2011 applicant's whose applications have started processing. You're very blessed.
