Is there any May applicants still waiting for AIP?? I STILL havent heard anything.....its been a year now and nothing yet! They tell us all the documents are ok but they are still doing background checks - what is going on??? We are going crazy waiting...  ( |

Very true. With a person whose application was sent a day earlier than my and an AIP more than a week ago, I start to think I am in trouble. So scared!!! But when I see people who have no answer since May I also think they don't work over there!!! I hear you guys! The closer it gets to the end we get more anxious! oh we need an extra dose of patience!!

Hii please help me as i sent my application on 1 Aug 2011 & didn't send medical report with my application by mistake .. i contacted CIC several times and they asked me to send them some documents but never said any thing about the medical report so what should i do NOW and do you there is any problem or delay will happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  08/01/11- Application SENT! 08/04/11- Application received 09/23/11- In process |

I would suggest you do your medical asap, so when the time comes for your application being processed CIC has your medical. I am sure they will ask for it at some point and it will delay your application. Sometimes they give two stages at once and this can stop them from doing so. Hope it helps. Send it right away. It's good for a year, so there's no sense in waiting when you've already been waiting this long. |

And in my case doctor sent it by herself I just attached a copy that I underwent the medical examination. And yes it is valid for a year (some say even 15 months), so you can book it today! The sooner the better in this case! thanks Am_lina11

That is right, there is a list on the web site. You can call three different offices and choose the cheapest. As far as I remember you need a specific picture on it ( I did it more than a year ago so everything is a blur). My point is send the copy to CIC the day you undergo it, just to make sure CIC is aware your medical is done. Good luck! There's a list on the CIC website. Check around, prices vary.
