Congrats to all that got DM or at least saw their case moving forward!!!!!
It seems that Scarbourough is a slow office... I think it takes over 2 months to get your landing interview... Hang on there... is almost nothing what is missing.
CrazyLucy, Im pretty sure that lot of people from here (like I did) were jumping back and frwrd between the 2010/2011... I remember you from the other threat .
You are more than welcome to post with us... We know how difficult it is with this forum... I can't imagine waiting without knowing what's going on, or without the support of all our friends here... Stay around, good luck... your time is coming!!!

Just hung up the phone with CIC:
First stage of approval is APPROVED.
You can go ahead and apply for an open work permit.
She also asked me to wait for the letter because it will tell me details on where to pick up my passport because it's with CBSA.
Can someone please tell me what's next ?

I called earlier today to check on my background check status, the agent told me they have everything they need to final review by IO, hopefully that will be done soon !!!

Hi guys!
I just got my AIP letter in the mail today, but my lawyer received her copy last friday. I'm just curious where and how did you guys get your OHIP, I heard not offices are being helpful.. So if anyone can share their experience, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Irishred thats hilarious ( didn't know you were in Nova Scotia) my great great great grandparents landed in Nova Scotia in 1755. "Debert" Just north near Truro they were land granties from the King. I think immigration was easier and faster then!! |
