I just called CIC and the agent said i had AIP and OWP issued yesterday March 18. I asked if i had 2nd stage as well, she said it is still in process, no update showing on my ecas as of now  Super dooper! |

Thanks and congrats to you too! I asked they agent if there was anything missing for stage 2, she said there is none, they are still requesting to extend medicals. I wonder where they are going to request for this, and i did my medicals the end of March last year so it still is less than 1 year. |

Listen, this morning (6h00) my ecas showed "Decision Made" on my side only, my hubby showed In progress. Then at 9h00 my husband side showed Decision Made... so maybe tomorrow it will show Decision Made... positive thinking |

My Application was transferred to London Ontario on March 3rd because they are going to want an interview. Does anyone know how long it typically takes for them to schedule the interview?

My ecas has been updated saying a decision has been made and you will be contacted. So I called them., The agent said they sent the letters on March 17th. |

I phoned CIC too this afternoon and guess what, I got AIP! The nice agent told me it was approved March 18th together with the OWP. She said there's no note there about redoing medical (i had my medical done Feb 24, 2010) so probably they're extending it which is awesome coz I dont wanna spend another $210 for that  I also sent additional docs dated Oct 20,2010 in which the agents can't see the note whether its been attached to my original package but I believe it has been attached coz it contains all the statutory declarations from our families & friends. |

 my application received on may 10, which is the same day as canadiancitizen, and starting processing on 25th of may which is just one day later than hers, and mine says in process still, I am so so so curious when my application will update like candiancitizen,, I can see they did speed up, however, I have a sceduled trip to Korea in early next month , so I hope I get some good news soon before I have to deal with any special immigration stamp work at the airport!! Anyways, congratulations on all new PR approvals here!!!

It sounds like the reason for the interview was the mistake in your original filings. Assuming your documents check out, it seems reasonable that he will allow your application to proceed. Good luck! |
