Hi there, thanks. What happened to your application? in process? All the best.

LOL.  My original application (in FSW) was rejected on medical grounds; that is awaiting a decision by the Federal Court on my judicial review application.

It took them 31 months to reject my initial application, but I've been living and working in Canada throughout the whole thing, met someone here (actually before I even submitted my FSW application) and married last May.  Since excessive demand is not applicable in spousal sponsored class, we submitted a new application this month.  In speaking to someone else who has gone through this, I'm expecting the spousal application to take 18-24 months (because even though the medical thing is not disqualifying, it means I'm not going to fall into normal processing time expectations and it took my friend 24 months.)

So the new application arrived in Mississauga on March 6, 2012.  My hope is to have sponsor approval by the end of May.  Then the long wait begins.

SL1980,

Ya just saw. But my ecas still says they are they received my application on 29th April and still processing it. Do you have any idea how long does it take to update that?

I think I remember someone saying in this thread that it can take eCas a day or two to update the status, so maybe that's your case? You could try calling again today and if they say, "just wait!", point out that you're now behind the announced schedule.

Thank you so much! and congrats for your husband the new job!
and yes hopefully we will hear good news very soon!
Best wishes!

Same with mine.  I sent additional docs dated Oct 20, 2011 and can't see any update on e-cas & when I phone, the agent can't see any updates either.  I read from Inland 2010 forum with the same case, so hoping they just forgot to update it.

Ha ha ha.... I know, I had been calling them from morning. They just repeat the details in the Ecas and asked me to call back in end of April or beginning of May..

I need to send even more information, as my husband just got a new job, who knows when that is going to be attached.

If the person sponsoring you changes jobs, do we need to inform them of this?

Hello! Please can someone explain me how should I do to request my FOSS notes by mail? Yesterday I sent a mail to this mail address atip-aiprp  @  cic.gc.ca and they answered me today that I had to fill in the form 1543F.

And in this form it says I have to send it to Ottawa, I'm confused, and I don't know how much time it could take to get an answer.

I've already sent it by post canada yesterday, but I didn't use the priority mail so I won't be able to see when it will arrive. Maybe I should've done that. So now, I want to try to request it by email too, just to be sure, I think it's the fastest way to get an answer.
And I have one more question please, for those who have already received their FOSS notes. How many pages are in the FOSS notes, approximately?
And by calling CIC I will be able to see if my application to request FOSS notes has arrived ok?Huh?

Thank you in advance!!!

I think you shouldn't worry you're done, it's just a matter of time to have your landing interview.
keep positive, I hope you will heard something soon.

Best wishes!
