Initial Response from CIO

Sorry for not updating on this thread.

I got the invitation for the interview and MR.

Attended the interview and now got the call for passports for stamping the visas. I will be handing over the passports next week.

Thats great news!! Congrats.. Could you give us the exact dates for our reference.. When you sent the docs to the VO? first response from the VO either by mail or otherwise? Med tests? PC? Passport request etc.,?

Could you please tell how long it took to recieve the passport request after interview?Am also called for an interview..Did the medicals come along with the interview call or after interview??

It'll take from 7-8 weeks minimum but i have observed from June-2011 applicants that most of them got AOR or PER or NER after 60-70 days. so the same will go with July-2011 applicant, I presume. so the one whom application received in the first week will start receiving AOR or PER or NER from next week.

AOR = Acknowledge of Receipt
PER = Positive Eligibility Review
NER = Negative Eligibility Review.

if there are any missing/incomplete documents will the CIO still charge the fee or simply return without charging.

They will return without charging.

They will not return Once somebody rejected after getting PER and in process.

My CC has not been en-cashed yet. I didnt receive my documents back either. I sent a mail to the CIO but I think they are in christmas break..

Ok guys I got the visa today. Just applied for UK visa so that I can have a stop on the way.

im under noc 3152, everyone here said the cap was reached before i sent my package. it was received on sept14, but my bank claims that my bank draft was already encashed. still havent received any return documents, emailed them already. im holding on. please shed some light

If money has been encashed then get the date it was processed. It took me around 11 weeks after encashement for them to notify that the initial review has been done.
