Usually PR card is received within 6 weeks time from landing but some times may go  upto 8 weeks. Hope you will get thePR Card any time by April. Check your mail box daily.

If anyone has moved out of Canada in a weeks time after landing and not received the PR card nothing to panic about it.
Next time when u do ur landing just apply for PRTD and enter Canada. Next call the call center number and report abt the same. Only thing is u will be charged $50 each for all family members.

Hi,

I landed in Toronto - Canada on March 14th 2011 and still not received PR Cards. Please let me know if anyone landed during the same time received PR Cards?

Currently I am in USA and trying to reach Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100, but looks like we can call that number only if we are inside Canada.

Please let me know if anyone tried reaching the call center number from outside Canada and was able to talk to any agent? If so, please let me know how do we reach that number from USA?

Appreciate your help.

I personally know of a person who landed on March 10, 2011 and CIC mailed PR card on April 18 that was recevied in mail at end of April.

You can contact CIC call centre from outside Canada by dialing: 001 613-944-4000.
Once you get through, press 1 for English, then 2 for immigration. You will hear a click and silence after you dial 2. Do not hang up. You are being transferred to Citizenship and Immigration. Then press 1 for service in English, then press 1 for information on Immigration, then press 2 for information regarding PR Card, then press "0" to speak to an customer service agent.

Pls have your Client ID mentioined on COPR ready for verification by customer service agent.
