If you are a woker you have to apply as a chef or cook, this is not at all related to information technology...

I don;t know if you are already eligible to apply for an off campus work permit. Just read on and search.

You can change your temporary resident status from student to worker.

BTW, what language are you using in your software development?

Oh, your subject says "Woker" so I thought you were a cook, but now I see: you meant "Worker." Sorry for the mistake. Smiley

I am full filling all the requirements of NOC 9990.6, i have experience in C,C++,Visual Basic and Javascript languages.

can you please help me to locate which form i have to fill for switching my status, because i couldn't find any form special for IT worker category. So if I am applying under IT category then i dont need LMO right??

Hi,

Leon, PMM, Rupesshari etc. would be in better positions to give you the advice here. If it were I, I would be changing my permit from student to worker in Canada through CPC-V

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/5553E.PDF
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1249E.PDF

then correct your temporary resident status (visa) from student to worker once you have the valid work permit. Application is through a visa office outside of Canada.

And you can also call CIC toll free number in case you have doubts. Talk to a "live" agent =)) (don't know how they are called). Call early so that the lines are not too busy. All the best.

Extend/Change Conditions as a worker: $150.00

PMM's email: "Send this member a personal message" =)) .... your guess is as good as  mine. All the best:)
