I want to know that how much time it would take at the airport as i have a connecting flight to move to another canadian city . Also need to know about any funds we have to show to the Immigration officer ?.( My brother is a canadian citizen who sponsored me and our parents to canada ) . i mean is there
any bank statement required there ?
waiting for your response

Hi,
Welcome to Canada.
No need to show any funds like FSW categories for family class immigrants. But if you have funds above CAD 10,000/- (in cash,DD or TC ) with you, it should be declared. Otherwise no.
If you have a connecting flight there should be at least 2-3 hours gap between the flights.
It may not take much time for the individual process, but it depends on how many new people are landing during the time when you landed at the airport. Then you need time to get the baggage and reach to the domestic counter at a different terminal for check-in for connection.
The questions could be brief about your identity, some general family questions and about your sponsor in Canada, his address, telephone number, the address where you are going to stay in Canada etc. There will not be any harassing questions.
You could expect a pleasant welcome by the officers.
