Hi,

My visa has expired on 28th Nov 2011. I have not yet applied for the restoration of status, will be doing in next week after my LMO comes. My wife and kid were also on visitor visa, which expired on 28th Nov 2011.

My wife and kid are leaving Canada and going to our home country(India) on 4th Feb 2012. I just wanted to know, if there could be any problem for them at immigration while exiting Canada.

As they are travelling alone, so just want to make sure their immigration is smooth.

Thanks in advance.

They won't have any problems at immigration. When departing Canada, you don't actually go through immigration like in some other countries. They can just get on the plane and leave.

What about the allowed visit? Is it expired? They won't have any trouble leaving; no checks while exiting Canada but when they apply again for a visa, the overstay would be seen and they may have trouble obtaining another TRV.
