hi
i am living in uk and going to canada very soon as i have to show funds on my landing. can i show it in pounds equal to 7000 or do i
have to show in canadian dollars 11000. basically  my question is can you show funds in any currency or it must be in canadian dollars.  please reply me

As advised by seniors here on the forum (Qorax Specifically), its advisable to carry monies on you. Traveller cheque, DD, and cash.

As long as the money is with you (in form/s mentioned above), type of currency should not be an issue as you can convert it anytime there.
