What does the "in transit" status means...I filed my app on May 16th and yesterday the status was changed from "delivered to CHC" to "in transit".

Yaar.. Are you able to track your application... I have been trying to track my application via Visatronix site (since you created thread to check if there's something on my end) BUT their *censored word*TY site isn't working.. Can you tell if it's working for yours..  |

bhai I tracked day before yesterday and yesterday's morning.after that both the visatronix and tcs tracking website were down..anyways it is now up (tcs tracking) and my status has been again changed to "return to origin"

hey Icecool Bro.....
Can student of 1 year diploma get two years work permit if they choose to study further after finishing 1st 1 year diploma....... so in total it will be 2 years of education but 2 different diplomas...
please help

Hey man how are you doing...Well first of all there is no diploma in Canada which lasts for one year..Second thing is that "why dont you actually think about studying for 2 years instead of doing 2 seperate one year certificates", I think that will be a much better idea for you to actually think about doing a 2 year diploma course in the field of your study and than you will actually get a "3" years of work permit..It is definately not an good option for you to do "two" one year courses...Now that said, if you do actually do 2 one year courses from an institution than you may get a 3 year work permit however this is not something I can say for sure...My best suggestion for you would be to find a 2 year diploma programme like I am in right now, and when you finish that 2 year diploma programme your almost gurranteed a 3 years work permit unless there is some serious documentation problem with your file.. There is litreally no need to complicate your career by doing 2 different diplomas or certificate when you can actually do a 2 year straightforeward diploma.........As the matter of fact from my understanding there is no reputed college in Canada which actually offers an 1 year diploma. |

To make my case strong i want to go for Marketing Management diploma (1 year) as in this way i will convince VO to issue the visa on the basis of specialization field.

AAHHHH ok, so your at post- graduate level, now I see..I understand your concern, you can do a Marketing Management diploma and than you can do a similar diploma probably and extend your visa within Canada and hopefully that if you apply within Canada it wont be as difficult to get an extension. Now with that said, please do make sure that your second diploma is also related to your field, so you can get an easy visa...Actually for post-graduate students, I heard somewhere that if you do 2 certificates one after one for 2 years and if you can actually prove that both of these programme were of 2 years in duration than you can be granted a 3 years work permit... But i dont know whether you will get a 2 year work permit or a three year..But hoping for the best it will be of three years..Alot of it depend on how your college co-operate with you..If your total duration of study accumulate into 2 years and your college gives you a letter stating that you did a 2 years programme in total, than CIC might give you a three year work permit... |

May Be one from Humber and the other one from Saskatchewan?
As my final destination is Saskatchewan? Also how easy is to get a job in Toronto after finishing Marketing Management 1 year PG Diploma.

Yes about tracking, I've shoot them an email.. Everyday, your tracking (track.tcs.com) goes down around 5 - 8PM and comes back up around noon next day.. I haven't been able to track my shipment since 2.19PM yesterday!! What the hell is wrong with your technical staff..? I have complained about it earlier but it seems none rectified it! I am amazed that one of the largest Courier Service Provider in Pakistan does not have someone competent enough to solve this issue..?? lol.. This happened couple of weeks ago too.. So it was time to beat up the drums  |

My final destination is saskatchewan too, so i really dont care about the job market in Toronto to be honest. I think it will be a good idea to actually go to Saskatchewan after your graduation as they have the most easiest PNP in Canada. I think if you do 2 diplomas from the same institue and than move to saskatchewan than it is the same thing..I mean i am studying in Ontario and as soon as i graduate ill move to saskatchewan.. |
