Hi everybody who can help,

I entered Toronto as a VISITOR 4 months ago.  I am applying for PR under Common Law condition. All the documents sent to CIC already and I received a message from them that my application was processing.

Can any body tell me whether I need to apply for an extend stay visa under this circumstance?

With many thanks,

Joe

Yes, you still need to keep legal status in Canada regardless of your PR application.  If you want to stay, you should apply for a TRV extension.
