I don't see a need why you need to send them an email every month.

If you're that curious about your case then order GMCS / CAIPS note. Obviously, they will not give you information that you don't know in the email.

Yeah, it's probably not a good idea to send them an e-mail every month. You never know if the officer is frustrated for some reasons than he can relieve the his stress on your case by putting your file in the end of the bundle. I have actually seen that few times. So, just calm down. Your timeline is still pretty good.  I think you should be getting the PPR soon may be 2-3 weeks.
