In Process Status - Application in Buffalo Office

Hi All,

Is there anyone whose AOR received date is in 2009 and got online application status as "In-Process" ???

Mine AOR is 31st March' 09 and status is still showing as "Received by Visa Office".

It looks Buffalo office has not yet started working on 2009 application.

I am far behind you and only hoping that in 12 months from AOR i will have some news from the 'sleeping office'.

Since economy is not in very good shape, CIC is delaying the application process with a purpose.

I think its a very relevant question.
I located only two applications on trackitt whose AOR was received in January 2009 - and whose papers moved further after that (medicals etc.).
However those two seemed to have had their initial application sent in August of 2008!!
So actually it took Buffalo 6 months to issue AOR for them!!!!

I am thinking under the new system where we are supposed to first send to CIC Sydney probably no cases have moved beyond "Application received" in Buffalo.
I hope I am wrong and posts by other members will prove me to be.
I myself had my Buffalo AOR in June 09.
So I am way behind you.
