We sent our application at the end of August; it reached London on 25th of August. I was able to log in and check the status of our application; it says it is in Process!
Shouldn't it be received first, just curious? It seems to be slightly different from what I read on the forum, perhaps it's the old system. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Gregor

Gregor,
That is the status of old applicants and mine is also the same.

Have you received any documents update letter? It looks like they have just completed the request for update letters for JULY2007 Applicants. If you have not already received the letter, I am sure you should receive one in the next few weeks, if not days.

No letter yet, well I presume you're asking if they asked for additional docs as full application was posted in August. I would also expect them to send some sort of confirmation as well, we'll wait and we'll see Smiley no rush anyway.
 Have you already received letter asking for documents?

Hey Bobby,
 I did not understand you yesterday; I think it was too late at night Smiley.
So here are our timelines;
Sent docs to CIC Apr 2007
Docs requested in June 2009
Docs sent to London End of August 2009 (reached London on 25th of August)

Now I was trying to log in for the first time last week but it would not let me, we checked again on Saturday and it worked (actual status in process).

Well, in that case, it  means they are verifying and scrutinizing your documents. They will also carryout background checks. As soon as they get "Green lights" from all the checks, then they will send you the Medical request plus ask you to pay the RRP-FEE, if you have not already paid.

Good Luck.
