until they decide if  your sponsor has financial conditions to sponsor you, if your relationship with your sponsor is genuine,
also they check criminal records, health .. then in process changes to Decision Made.

Good luck

Don't expect it to change much.. most offices don't make any changes .. some state medicals received.. some state decision made when the visa is issued .. some dont change till someone has landed Smiley It is a gruelling process unfortunately and we are left waiting Smiley best wishes to all of us Smiley

The length it takes to process your application depends alot on which visa office you are using. Which visa office is processing your application? You can check average processing times for the different visa offices here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp

thank you for all your kind wishes, Boncuk. Luck is the only thing we definitely need now as well as patience.
you think that the only way to have update about the application is a letter from the local visa office?

Usually yes.. if they require additional documents they will notify you.. if not will just be the passport request or interview request.. they really don't communicate much else Smiley
