Hi,

Has anybody been able to get a multiple entry visitor visa from Buffalo recently? My current visa (obtained as a student) expires next month and I am working on a post-graduate work permit. I can't take more than a day off from work and go to the US from Canada.

Their website is not very clear on whether they are processing the same day. They have stopped taking phone calls (there was a recorded msg when I called today) and replied to my email saying they do not answer individual queries and information is only on their website.

Any help will be great!

Thanks

You can send the application to Buffalo, but it would not be done in a day. They used to have one-day processing but since they installed a new computer system they have had back logs.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We have recently installed a new computer system in all US offices. As a result, applications are taking longer than usual to process. If you wish to apply for a temporary resident visa, work permit or study permit, we encourage you to submit your application by mail and to ensure that you fill in and validate the forms found on our website . We can only process applications which are submitted with all required forms and all questions answered. Incomplete applications and those which have not been validated online will be returned to you. We recommend that you apply at least 3 months in advance of your planned travel. Thank you for your understanding.
