The first question is, what is your marital status. We have been together for over 12 months so I answer Common Law.
Then they ask, do you have a conjugal partner?
A conjugal partnership can best be described as a "marriage-like" relationship in which neither actual marriage nor cohabitation is possible due to circumstances completely beyond the couple's means to control. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, being unable to marry or co-habit due to cultural or ethnic barriers, neither partner being able to obtain a visa to the other's country. Residing in separate countries, not wanting to give up employment or studies, lack of financial resources, not wanting to have an official marriage, or one partner having been refused a visa, are not sufficient to meet this definition.
based on this definition, what do I answer?
If we are in a common law relationship, do I have a conjugal partner?
Please, how do I anser this question?
Regards,
Ray Crawford.
I know this was originally asked in 2009 but I was also confused by this question and I'm not sure what to answer when they ask if I have a conjugal partner. My marital status would be common law as we have lived together for 12 months, however surely that must mean I also have a conjugal partner (by definition)... Very confused. Be much appreciated if you could please advise what you answered for this.
Would hate for my app to be returned for such a simple mistake.

Thanks
