hello everybody, I got married on 4th of September this year. On 7th of September 2010 ................. N.B.: This declaration must be witnessed either by a Notary Public. Dear friend wonder You need not send this declaration........... rather I have not seen this requirement anywhere (not a case known to me) ..... I assume that you have submitted a copy of your marriage certificate!! Cheers, Anil

hi Destined ,
You should contact your Courier Company (In India?) and find out who they are partnering within Canada (NS). Then you can contact the Canadian counterpart and clarify what that code/description means. I am not sure if they tried to deliver it on Thanksgiving Day(last Monday). As far as I can see, one delivery attempt may be failed and they are trying to contact that address before they deliver again.

Hi Issac..... Posting after a long time ...... If destined tries to contact the Canadian counterpart and all the other stuff...... his application will never reach and will be returned back!! He has actually couriered the application and wrote the PO box address (which is for normal mail) .... already suggested him to give the actual address to courier company .... Take care... Cheers, Anil

Yes Anil, You are correct (Always ), I didn't notice he uses the other address. Now I can see how delivery is not possible to a PO BOX Add.

hi all do we need to send the PCC with the full application ? thnks biju Hi Biju That's really great ... you will be one of the few lucky members who can meet and interact with Qorax. He is such a help to so many applicants.....like I have gone through many of his posts ...and I tell you these consultants are no where near him!!! All the best........ You can access the tracker any time....... we are trying to keep it updated till the last moment...... As for the PCC is concerned...... post 26/6 applicants... PCC is the only document which is NOT to be sent along with the application. Rest ALL documents are required with the application and is to be sent directly to CIO. Cheers, Anil

Hi Anil. Even the issue of the Police Certificate is not a certainty. We already have one recent case of a post 25 June applicant whose application was returned for the lack of it. It may well be a mistake on the part of CIO, and until Hub2 gets a clarification from CIO/VO it remains a question unanswered. Whichever their answer may be, it is nevertheless quite a worrying thought for such a thing to happen – for different reasons of course! Cheers Today I received my RETURNED application from the CIO (Sydney, NS). The receiving employee's highlights on the document checklist indicate that PCCs are indeed necessary on 1st submission. IMO, this contradicts what is very clearly stated on IMM EG7000 (07-2010), pg 39, under 'Police certificates':
"Note: Do not submit your police certificates to the CIO. If your application is placed into processing, you will be required to submit the police certificates to the Canadian visa office indicated on your application." ... Hub2

Regarding Hub2 having the returned app because the PCC was not included...I am so sorry. When was the application received by CIO? I think they discontinued the PCC requirement after AUGUST 4th. Was Hub's app sent in between June 26 and Aug 4? Best of luck!

Hi Anil. Even the issue of the Police Certificate is not a certainty.................. – for different reasons of course! Cheers Dear Temasek I do agree with you..... That is where the problem is - (1) I am aware of the case where the application was returned for lack of PCC........ it's not as if the rule for PCC had just changed and the staff were not aware of that ....... the worst part is we can't do anything ... can't even explain them that this is their rule and they wanted it like this ...... there is no way even to contact them... (2) Same goes with the confusion between IELTS ... GT or academic....... Comparing the two ...Academic is considered tougher .... still one has to give GT (as per the rule .... clearly emphasized on GT) even if they have the result of academic ....... On the other hand many applicants were accepted / rejected with academic results...... We do have almost complete knowledge of these rules, relating to completion of application and sending them....... but what exactly is going to happen there in CIO, person who checks our application for basic requirements..... and his knowledge / clarity about such issues, his state of mind (at that moment) ............ All depends ..... whom to blame ...or who should be responsible for these grave mistakes ....... whom should we approach...all these questions remain unanswered Cheers,Anil
