Sorry for the typo error.  Angry

It should have read mkshah.

My sincere applogies.

Hi mkshak

I have some notary seals with a number in the middle that's why I highlighted this point. But looks like its not a rule.

One can expect such surprises, to be practical as these notaries are private professionals charging money for attestations. They are there to make money.

But I strongly feel as long as there is notary seal, 'attested from original' string, date and signature; problems shouldn't come up.

Lastly I feel the color of the stamp should not matter in my opinion.

Hope this answers your concern.

Good Luck!

It was the same case with my spouse. She has BCOM & MCON did from same university. As per Asst. Registrar (Eval), her university provides the Official Transcript Summary in the same sealed envelope.

So, this is OK!

2 different transcripts:
Hi all,
I am postgraduate with M.Sc. Chemistry.
However I studied my masters course from Faculty of Technology & ENgg and bachelors course from Faculty of Science.

I had applied to the offices of both the faculties for transcripts of Masters and bachelors courses.

My query is that Should I take all the transcripts in one sealed envelope or 2 different sealed envelopes one for Masters and one for Bachelors?

Hi, I just want to ask how true is it that you can still apply even if you scored less than the 67 passmark?

It is stated somewhere in their website that you can still apply if you can provide supporting documents that will prove that you can be economically established in Canada. What are those specific documents?

Upon self- assessment I only got 63 points. I am applying for FSW (registered nurse). I have a cousin (in Ontario) who can provide me temporary residence until I can take the CRNE (which requires proof of immigration). I am aware that I do not get points for having a cousin in Canada but would that help prove that I can be established in Canada aside from having my own settlement funds?

Please kindly advice me on this one. I am eager to submit an application getting hopes from that specific statement in the website:

If your score is lower than the pass mark, you are not likely to qualify to immigrate to Canada as a skilled worker. We recommend that you do not apply at this time.

However, you can still apply if you believe other factors would show that you are able to establish yourself in Canada and support your dependants. Send a detailed letter with your application explaining why you think you are able to become economically established in Canada. Include any documents that support your claim.

Please help. Thank you and God bless everyone

Hello Sophieanne,

I second Anil's reply for you, and in addition to that, i would suggest you to work on the areas where you can gain more points(like IELTS etc.,) before applying. Please submit your application only after you are confidant you claim 67 points. In case it's 1 or 2 less, you may need to seek help from some consultant to prepare a more diplomatic and strong application.

Please visit the link below, where there was a person rejected for having 66 points with 10 years of living in US.

I have  sent my  application to  CIO along with all the required documents as per new rules and which was as per website of Fedex was delivered to CIO on 18-8-2010.

But I have not received any response for delivery of my application to CIO by CIO even after passage of at least one Month.
Is there any one who had submitted his application after 26-06-2010 and also has received any response for delivery of application from CIO.

Is there any other way to confirm that my application is under process in CIO.

Dear Friends / Experts,

Documents of same set (Including application forms) - should be stapled or should I use U-pins?

I will use Paper clips (big size) to bind these documents together.

any recommendations?

Second thing: Clarification about filling Step 12. NOC Order of Preference, My current & past experience was '2147' & '2171' respectively. However the Offer Letter that I got under AEO is for '0213'.

As per instruction guide, I should use order of preference containing 2147 and 2171.

Now, since I have an AEO (matching code: 0213) I will not be judged based on this section.

So, the question is: Should I mention '0213' as the first order preference, followed by the other two.

What should I mention under this column (in Step.12 of Schedule-3)?

Hi Doc,

How can you make basic mistake by not sending your DOB certificate.

There are chances that you will get back your application.

Hey Mayank

Calm down man!!! And watch your words bhai........ for you it may be a basic mistake..... for him it may not be so...... and it is the matter of DoB.... here 10th class is THE DoB proof ..... so nothing wrong...rather I say CIO is wrong (as you said basic mistake!!) for creating this type of confusion. So chill!!

Dear Manu

Now nothing can be done...... wait for the documents to come or be ready to get charged..... till then 'bhajan karo' means have fun (for non hindi members)  Grin Grin  By the way there is nothing wrong to keep your DoB certificate ready, in case if it is not there.... and also cross check it with PP and 10 th class certificate.... Don't you get worried ...(and then leaving the scissor in the stomach - basic mistake) Shocked Shocked Shocked Cool Cool Cool Tongue Tongue

Cheers, Anil

hi,
I have prepared my all documents but couldn't get university sealed transcripts .As I am abroad,it is impossible and don't have anyone to get it from KU for me.but I have transcript from KU,which i got few years back, but not in university sealed envelope.will it make any problem or returning of my application?what explaination letter i should add in my package for not providing university sealed envelopes???
if an applicant is having 67 marks, but if they won't consider spouse's BA(External),there would be shortage of 4 points in 67 so would they reject the case, and can one get his refund if rejection by cic or vo(london)?

Thanks, Anil!
your help was also highly appreciated... Smiley

I used FedEX Box (international - Economy)// total documents (including FedEx Box) = 2.5 KG (around 320 Pages - including envelopes). And yes I included the old passport copies as well... this is to prove our Travel Histories... Didn't wanted to take a risk ;-)

Hope I will get my AOR soon !!!!  Huh

Congrats Shadab
