Hello Experts / Friends,
My envelope will contain..........
Is this is ok (a standard pkg type)? Wink ............. of all the passports (new, old/expired) for all the members)....

Hi friend

As you asked ....... I somehow forgot to mention this. You need not send the whole bunch of old PP. Only the notarized photocopies of valid passport has to be sent.

Hope this will reduce the numbers by 40%.....
Cheers, Anil

Hi, I just want to ask how true is it that you can still apply even if you scored less than the 67 passmark?

It is stated somewhere in their website that you can still apply if you can provide supporting documents that will prove that you can be economically established in Canada. What are those specific documents?

Upon self- assessment I only got 63 points. I am applying for FSW (registered nurse). I have a cousin (in Ontario) who can provide me temporary residence until I can take the CRNE (which requires proof of immigration). I am aware that I do not get points for having a cousin in Canada but would that help prove that I can be established in Canada aside from having my own settlement funds?

Please kindly advice me on this one. I am eager to submit an application getting hopes from that specific statement in the website:

If your score is lower than the pass mark, you are not likely to qualify to immigrate to Canada as a skilled worker. We recommend that you do not apply at this time.

However, you can still apply if you believe other factors would show that you are able to establish yourself in Canada and support your dependants. Send a detailed letter with your application explaining why you think you are able to become economically established in Canada. Include any documents that support your claim.

Please help. Thank you and God bless everyone

Dear Sophieanne

I sincerely feel that you should present your case in a very diplomatic way as you are not meeting the basic requirements. For that it is best to consult an immigration specific lawyer or firm..... Most of the members will have the same views ....... OR if you get a job in Canada....you can apply under AEO category (FSW2) OR can try for Provincial Immigration!!! Please see these options too....something will work out!!! All the Best!!

2 different transcripts:
Hi all,
I am postgraduate with M.Sc. Chemistry.
However I studied my masters course from Faculty of Technology & ENgg and bachelors course from Faculty of Science.

I had applied to the offices of both the faculties for transcripts of Masters and bachelors courses.

My query is that Should I take all the transcripts in one sealed envelope or 2 different sealed envelopes one for Masters and one for Bachelors?

Dear bro...

It has to be different. Both the degrees are different . means one is Deg. and the other is PG........ and so have to be in different sealed covers.....

Hi mkshak

I have some notary seals with a number in the middle that's why I highlighted this point. But looks like its not a rule.

One can expect such surprises, to be practical as these notaries are private professionals charging money for attestations. They are there to make money.

But I strongly feel as long as there is notary seal, 'attested from original' string, date and signature; problems shouldn't come up.

Lastly I feel the color of the stamp should not matter in my opinion.

Hope this answers your concern.

Good Luck!

Thanks all for replying to my confusion.
I got the documents notarized using second option only.
But the notrary stamp does not show any serial number in the cirucular stamp as told by nitinkalra here.
