Hi All, I am quite new to this forum and reading the mails of this thread and got very much impressed with the helping and supportive atmosphere around. After reading the various mails on this thread, I got the feeling that I can do the entire process of applying to CIC by myself. I shouldnt have hired a consultant for this. And I am paying a very huge feel to consultant for this. I have asked for instalment payment option and he has agreed for it. Till now I paid half of the amount and half is yet to be paid. I am not interested in this consultant as firstly he asked for my IELTS score compulsory. For this reason, he just stretched things from 17th July till now. I appeared for iELTS on 21st Aug and today my results are out. I got overall 7 bands, L 7.5, R 7, W 6.5, S 7.5. Now she has sent me a list asking various documents. But after reading the mails of this thread now, I know that some of the documents he asked for are updated now, but the consultant is not aware about this. This consultant is having main office in South Africa and offices in countries like Australia, UK, Canada. He has also mentioned at the end of the checklist that alll the docs should be sent to UK Office. Does this make any sense? This will consume so much of time in forwarding application from one country to another and if any doc is wrong or need updation, what to do? I have not kept my application yet and feeling confident to do it on my own. I am very worried as I feel I got caught in wrong hands. Kindly help me out in this situation.
Regards

Hi Anil ,
Does this mean that we need to submit the PCC again to the Visa office even though we have submitted the PCC to CIC (Sydney) ?
Regards Bindu
Dear Bindu You may or may not have to 1. The validity of PCC is actually 1 year.... but the VO (New Delhi) must get that PCC within 3 months of issue . 2. It means that WHEN your case is processed by CIO (Sydney) and the complete file is sent to VO ... it has to take place within 3 months. VO must get the PCC within 3 months of issue. 3. And yes...if the PCC is older than 3 months then you have to apply again for the same. That is the reason... VO (New Delhi) will inform and ask you to submit the PCC, once the case has been processed and is in the final stages of completion!!! It will take around 1 week (max.) to get PCC from PP office. Regards Anil

Dear MKShah I welcome you on behalf of all the members of this forum. We too were new when we joined this forum... So don't worry!! Let me tell you one thing in Hindi - ' Daer Aye..Durust Aye' . 1. Be confident ... you can do your work better than any other consultant. I got this lesson long time back when I applied through ***** way back in 2004. Still waiting for the outcome . AND moreover there is nothing extra / special that we are going to do. It is just like a college application form, with slightly more and pakka documentation. 2. Yes.... IELTS is must. One has to have IELTS qualification / certificate (TRF) not older than 1 year at the time of applying. By the way congrats for the IELTS scoring..... you have scored maximum points in your 1st language 3. And you have to send the completed application form (along with the full set of required documents as per the guidelines) to CIO, Sydney, Nova Scotia (CANADA). It is not UK or ANY other country (your consultant must have a solid reason ) 4. Now coming to your consultant........ you have chosen him..... good part is the installment. Try to get back the paid amount citing various reasons (but not that you want to apply at your own ). AND if you ARE confident 'Do you homework at your own'. We are here to help you and guide you. 5. Moreover... (a) You will save lot of precious time (b) will save your hard earned money (c) get to know the direct and latest updation and progress on your case (d) in later stages you will save your energy, time, patience, health...... everything, while contacting your consultant (e) you will get experience & knowledge and thus will be able to help other members or even non members (e) AND where will you get such a big family with so many helping hands 6. Before you decide anything .... discuss with your family members...and go through the Instruction Guide IMM7000. Remember - All the instructions given in that has to be fulfilled by you...even if you have a consultant ..... except submission...... which as per your consultant is UK (and in return your consultant will submit from UK to CIO Sydney, Canada ) You can PM me. Take care. Regards Anil

Thanks for the clarification Anil. One of my friend is waiting for PCC from Saudi, I can now inform her to send her application with out the Saudi PCC for now, and once the VO request for the PCC she can submitt the Saudi PCC. Once again thanks a lot for your valuable service. Warm Regards Bindu Dear Bindu You may or may not have to 1. Well I don't think an educated person would ever need a consultant for immigration application. Everything is so well documented and instructed on website and instruction guide along with checklists.Start doing it yourself buddy

It is also likely that some of the NOCs will likely hit the maximum much sooner than others. I have summarised the submissions made so far, and while it may not have captured all applications mention in this forum, it does not come as a surprise that NOC 1122 has the most number of applications. • 0631 (Restaurant Managers) – 1 application received by CIO (cforcanada); • 1122 (Management Support) – 13 applications received by CIO (Iafaneh, joenash, Temasek, Coffee, Inexperienced, Canada121, Made711, CB, Faanni, avbbs, gulshan.akbar, immigrantapplicant, & Avi_15); • 2121 (Biologist) – 3 applications received by CIO (Uncertain, Punjabi2121, & Rawdeal); • 2151 (Architects) – 3 applications received by CIO (Doal, Nitroxn, Zint, & nzds05); • 3111 (Specialist Physicians) – 2 applications received by CIO (talha10, & Shazad Tayab); • 3112 (General Practitioners) – 3 applications received by CIO (noolan, drgladiator, & Blueray333); • 3113 (Dentists) – 1 application received by CIO (molarius); • 3131 (Pharmacists) – 6 applications received by CIO (apsa4ever, Dr Alex, Titisak, yoyojaap, Cappuccino, & Kevinca) • 3142 (Physiotherapists) – 1 application received by CIO (Physiocraze); • 3152 (Nurses) – 3 applications received by CIO (Bindu, Khai, & nursemich); and • 7216 (Mechanical Trades) – 2 applications received by CIO (munna22, & ammaartahir).
While it is not representative of the total number of applications made to CIC, it nevertheless does give some indication of the extent of submissions that will be made in the various categories.
Good Job Temasek, i still hope we can make it into the 1000 cap for 2151(Architects). BTW we will target Oct 10th to be our launch day. Thanks, Indira Prabhakaran.

Dear friend iram1 Please go through my views. And would like like to sincerely mention that please don't feel bad or get offended with what I am going to write and suggest.. Please correct me if I am wrong (and would apologies for the same) One should be truthful in these types of forums. We are here to help each other... so put your real difficulties and shortcomings in the forum. We will certainly try to help you out. We too don't have that much time to read / go through each & every post and share our thoughts. . Rather go for the genuine problem and TRY to give a genuine and best possible solution. The reason for above lecture is you are asking various questions in different-different forums that are not at all matching. 1. You initially claimed that you are a cook (under NOC 6242) with low IELTS band...and want suggestions / help in that. Later you mentioned that it was for your sister (under NOC 1221) . She wanted to apply for saskatchewan as a skilled worker with job offer!! You also posted that there may be a gender discrimination which will be a negative factor for your sister. 2. You also asked suggestions in medical forum...about your weak eyesight...... and that you may get rejected in medicals. 3. And now this latest... MBA qualification under NOC 1122!! I WILL CLARIFY THIS DOUBT. Don't worry. Technically 95% people join to the required position after they get qualified for that position. But in your case you passed your exam (except viva) and got the said post and were working since last few years. Here the catch is CHC has not mentioned that the experience has to be after the qualification / degree you receive. Therefore both the points are different!! And moreover.... you will get qualifying points based on 6 different criterias and all are different from one another. Nothing specific is mentioned ... You do qualify to submit the application... if whatever you have said is correct. So basically before applying - you have the transcript / qualification (one of the criteria) AND you have the said experience (another criteria). Remember that your experience must match almost 80% of the job duties mentioned under your NOC 1122. Dear friend please clarify my doubts to the members and be honest. We are here to help genuine people. Cheers, Anil
