Hi,
If I submitt POF of 2 months back, rather than current one, will it make a problem and will CIC return my application or verify from my bank??
What are the points of checking POF?at CIC or VO?
If I submitt my current employer letter of 2 months back, rather than sending date ,will it make a problem and will CIC return my application or verify from my employer??
Kindly guide me..................
My present employer job would complete its 4 years on 26 sept. 2010 ,so what do you think better to send my application in last september 2010.Note I have 17 years experience but don't have past employers duties.I have past employers contract letter but not duties,so considering about this present employer job.
thanx...................

They do not have a certain rule regarding how long should a certificate was issued. So I think they would not return it, however sending a recent one is better as we still do not know the correct answer to your question. Smiley In my case, one of my POF is one month dated back. With regards to your experience, only one year paid experience is what they are requiring, four years is more than enough, so waiting for the 26th is not really necessary. Just focus on your present job, but also present evidences for your past.

May i ask you what kind of bank certification did you submit to CIO as POF? Is it the usual bank certification being issued by the banks?

Thanks!

Hi All,
Greetings,
I have couple of doubts I believe someone in this forum can clear it..
I have applied for PR in Canada under the 3152 Registered Nurse category I have submitted all the documents with my  visa application as told in IMM 5612 checklist which  was received by the CIC , Canada office on Aug 5th 2010.
I'm currently having only 2 years and 11 months bedside experience as a Registered Nurse, I have  also got 6 + years of experience as a Nursing Clinical Instructor  which I was told falls under 4131 – College and vocational instructor category .
Since under new rules post June 26 2010 , 4131 – College and vocational instructor category no longer falls under SOL , I'm now afraid that the CIC might reject my Visa application as Iam not having  4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse  which will reduce my SOL qualification points from the current 69 to less than 60. I had check this with my agency and they replied as below.
"Prior to June 26, 2010, the category “ 4131 – College and vocational instructor” was there in the Shortage of occupation list (SOL), But post June 26, 2010 the category was removed from the SOL list and transferred to the AOB list.
So we can still claim 21 points for your work experience and there is no reason to worry "
Can someone kindly confirm to me whether I can claim 21 points in my PR visa application with my total work experience .

Regards
Bindu Jacob

Another NURSE, welcome Bindu!  I believe your information is correct.  You have the required minimum ONE YEAR as a nurse (on the SOL) and you have the rest of the maximum four years in an occupation which falls into a skill level of O,A or B, so it fully counts to make up your 21 points.  Where do you hope to settle in Canada?

Hi Dr.Hasib,

Kindy advise me I have sent all requirement documents to Singapore Visa Office and only application forms to CIO,Canada. What shall I do?

Highly appreciate your advice.

Your application will be returned. What you should do is to send complete application again to CIO. No explanation letters needed, as your first application will just be stamped and returned, no copy will be retained to them since it was incomplete. Start gathering documents again now to beet the cap or better yet ask your visa office personally to have your documents returned asap if possible
