Dear deex,
Academic IELTS will not do. U must sit for GT
U need birth certificate, CBSE certificate will not do.
Why do u think college will not provide you original transcript? According to new rules your transcript has to be sealed by university.
An affidavit will be required as proof of name change.

Dr Hasib, where can I find the instruction that transcript should be sealed by the university/college? From the visa office Manila Philippines, they only require notarized copy at initial application.. I haven't send my application yet, I want to be clarified on this matter

nowhere do the guidelines say that General training IELTS is to be taken. i have academic module results already .are you sure about GT?
I'll contact my college/ university for transcripts.

Sure- GT. But at the same time I suggest you to re-check all the requirements at the time when you are ready to submit your application as rules may be updated/amended at any time. |

Dear all,
Could someone tell me which documents to be sent in original for the application after 26/6??? Are the following documents needed in original or any other is required as well:
- Police Clearance Certificates
- Birth Certificates for me and my spouse
- Original Nikkah Nama (Marriage Certificate)
- Original Transcripts in the university sealed envelopes
- Letters of Reference from the employer
- IELTS' result card
- Bank Certification Letters
Some one told me they also sent their original Degrees during the 120 days' period (as per previous immigration rules). So should I also send them or not?? In addition to the above, please tell me what else should be sent in original??

Following things should be original: -Police Clearance Certificates - Original Transcripts in the university sealed envelopes - Letters of Reference from the employer - IELTS' result card However, u do not need to send PCC to CIO. |

U will get this info from Information guide OP 6. In the guide it is clearly mentioned on page 33: IELTS offers ‘General Training' and ‘Academic' options. Only the ‘General Training' tests are
accepted for CIC purposes |

this jargon is beyond me!
Original Transcripts in the university sealed envelopes
am confused ....what does this mean?
transcripts from the college which have a university seal on them? or seal on the envelop?
or is the envelop sealed - not opened like some people are interpreting it???
