BREAKING NEWS

The Government of Canada announced on 29 March 2012 a plan to reduce the backlog of Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) applications by returning all applications and government fees submitted prior to 27 February 2008. This will amount to a total of almost 300,000 returned applications, as well as approximately $130 million in refunded government processing fees.

Approximately 160,000 FSW applications, submitted after 28 February 2008, will remain in queue for processing.

Hi, these are good news Kivian,

The letter usualy is send by registered mail, try to contact your local postmen.

Normaly this letter will ask you to do Medicals and to provide New Police Ceritificates and Bang Statement.

Meanwile I believe you must contact VO as soon as possible because you have a time limit to 60 days to provide the pappers that are required.

Good luck to you.

I requested that this thread be un-pinned given that the subject matter is no longer novel.   I'm glad it helped a bunch of people back when the rules were changing all the time and am glad for the friends I made Smiley

Good luck to everyone who is still in process!

These are just some thoughts based on the information available, what I've read, and my experience.  I am not an expert; if you want the facts, cic.gc.ca has a wealth of information.  Good luck with your application!  Hope you have a wonderful day *smile*

Thank you!   I remember when you were starting the app and then when you seemed to make it through in record time.    And then when you became one of the thread gurus along with Pippin - fun times Cheesy

Hope you've been settling in well Smiley
