Hello Dr Hasib/ Mayank,
Its been a long, I haven't got any update as yet. DHL guys acknowledged that it (my file) has been delivered on 9th Feb 2011 to CIO nova scotia.
I haven't checked my Bank DD from bank, should I go and check whether that has been encashed or not.
I am worried, its over 2 months and 16 days. Why these guys are not sending emails or acknowledging that they have got my file or not.
Just general question generally how long does it take to complete all the formalities and how long CIO guys take to time to provide file number once Bank DD is encashed.

Dear Surenpal, I advise you to first contact your Bank & know the status of your BD . If it encashed then its fine...if not then NER may be there... Again i advise you to contact CIO at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/csu.aspCurrently CIO is sending PER email in 25-35 days...but as you applied on feb..so at that time CIO took 45-50 days to get PER email. Hi Surendra, In addition to Mayank's comment, it could be if you have mistyped your email id or else if they mistyped your email id in their database. When is the processing time for FSW class starts. Is it from the time it was received by CIO or the time the VO received the originals.

Dear Zeenat; All applications must be sent to CIO office only, once they review the file illegibility they will be the one to send it to your appropriate VO, and only then your direct contact would be your VO, I did the same mistake and they returned back all my file then I send it to CIO and now it's under process Hope this clears the way for you, you should start preparing other forms with new dates, don't wait untill you receive the old documents. |

For post 26 june 2010 applicants, do they need to send 2 sets of application, one for CIO and one for VO to Novo scotia or just one set of application forms ?

You only send ONE FULL SET OF FORMS, plus all the other documents requested in the CIO and VO specific check lists. CIO Nova Scotia will go through your documents and decide if they meet the Ministerial Requirements, are complete in every way. If they are, CIO will forward your whole pkg to your VO. If/When anything further is required, you will be informed. Hope this helps.

Im new to this blog. Im planning to send my application this month under FSW. all the documents are ready but i hav few doubts in filling the application form.
1.In education section, whtz the meaning of formal education, and how many yrs i hav to write under primary, secondary n post secondary coulmn.
2.Can i send PCC at later stage when they request?
3.My previous employer is not ready to give me referrence letter. So can i send notorized copy of work experience certificate mentioning my job duties or original?

its better to submit pcc.i have sent too. n i confirmed today from canadian high commission islamabad to submit pakistan application to london not novascotia.plus in primary u write 5.n in secondary again 5 years this will add up to matric.now again in college calculate how many years u have studied. for example if u have done masters then write 6 .if bachelors then write 4. submit ur application as soon as possible n before june 2011.then new rules will come n u can get difficulty in applying may be or may be no. its good to send all documents which are mentioned in both cheklists.(main cheklist n visa office instruction) |
