hi PMM and seniors .........
plz help me out ,
i am an international student at nova scotia ,canada for the last 9 months and now i have off campus work permit and a job at the hotel which will be converted to permanent job in couple of months (they offered me full time ,but i told them to work part time as off campus work permit  dont allow full time work,so i am working part time as i'm full time student).also i have close relatives (Canadians) that i'm living with.
(my job is not related to my studies ,but they can convert it into full time whenever i want to)

my question is regarding Federal skilled worker category ,can i apply under this category as i can easily fullfill more than 67 points?

please refer to the cic link also
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp

I shall really appreciate your kind advice in this respect

thanks for your time

True if applies under FSW cat-1 or 2.
If applying under PNP, then I guess you need to send it to Buffalo directly. Check with others too...

kg
I have answered your question on the other thread.  Regarding changing addresses after applying, you can send a FAX to CIO with the updated information.  The Fax Address is found on the CIO website and you will probably find it in the link give by moabiassi a few posts above.  It is really important to spend time reading, learning, LIVING the instructions provided on the offical website.  There is a lot to learn, but you are much less likely to send in an incomplete or incorrect application if you have a complete understanding of the whole process.  All the best.

Address of communication mentioned in the application has no effect on this one. Our communication address for the application is our current address, while our passports have a different address(our permanent one). Also our PCCs state our permanent address only Cool.

I said Xe.com as with our personal exp, we exactly did the same Smiley. It has worked and we just had our RPRF en cashed. So, it's fine to show the amount in INR in the bank certificate and then attach a Xe.com print out taken on the same day of the certificate.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Hi Indira,

I have heard that even after submitting Bank Certificate, they sometimes later ask for Bank statement (6/12 months), is it true?

Did they ask for it in your case?
Thanks!

Yes, the VO has the right to ask for it anytime before they stamp the visas Smiley. Be prepared..

No, they did not ask for that from us Smiley
