Just wondering....might be I am asking again..sorry.... is the immunization free for the landed immigrants ? Can I ask any walk in clinic in canada that I need yellow fever or Hepatits B vaccination, will they provide me with any issue and fee? Please guide
You will need to go to a TRAVEL CLINIC.  Yellow Fever vaccine must be administered and documented by a physician at an approved centre.  It is not a routine immunization and you will be charged for it.  Used to be $65, but could have changed.  Hep B is not as black and white, but if it is purely for travel you will be charged for that as well.  Three doses 0, 1 and 6 months apart.

Dear Qorax,

I have one question. My son's date of birth (approved based on all the documents i.e. birth certificate, passport) is not the real one. The difference is of exact one year.

However immunization records are based on the true DOB. Now when I fill Immunization form do I need to adjust accordingly (which is obviously a lie) or it is fine and I can explain the real situation while it comes to the admission on the school while I am there?

Please guide me.

Thank you,
Prav

Do not change the immunization dates. Explain that the birthdate was incorrectly written and show proof of actual date.  Immunizations like MMR must be given after 12 months or they will not be counted. It is important that the officials understand where the mistake is and that the actual document has not been altered.

Qorax,
Good day / AOA

One question which is not related to this topic.
I am having a US dollars account in Pak.
When leaving for CA I have two options
1. To get Demand draft of Canadians dollars.
2. To get Demand draft in US Dollars.
If i get Canadian dollars pay order then bank will change my US dollars to CAD with there rate and what I understand I might get loss and change of currency as baks rate as converted  in this manner UD $ to Pak rupees and then to CAD.
Is it possible if i can take Pay order of US dollards and can depositi in CA bank in my CAD account, like this i might reduce my loss in currency exchange.
