Did any one remember when you landed in Canada, is the stamp in your passport diff than the visitor's stamp? Did anything implicate if you're a permanent resident or just visitor?  For example, if you enter the US, the visitor will have a date stamp on their passport indicate the date they have to leave the country,  for the green card holders the officer will write PRC.
