Hi Iceberg7,

been a long time. Wanted to wish a Merry Xmas and a Happy New year already !

I sent my Federal Part Docs, end of October, to Buffalo,... Sad ...well,...we'll see....should have send them a Swiffer to dust my folder. lol

I was thinking....i've heard so many rumors about the amaaaazing processing speed of the Buffalo VO... lool....my current Program "Young Professional Work Permit - 1 Employer only" will expire by the 31st July 2012. I guess I have to apply for an extension by the end of March 2012 and get hopefully accepted to extend it after July 2012, just for 1 more year until the PR is done.  And, with my "luck" i will get the PR by October 2012 Smiley and will have "wasted" another 150$ just for that..... lol

Cya, have a nice one,...

bye, lepatissier07

sry, forgot one thing to ask,.

i had to complete on one application sheet my current profession/job AND my "intended" profession/job. (Pastry Chef)

i was thinking for quite a while to change my career anyway (IT), and I've seen there are not many Pastry Chef Positions available here, at least not well paid jobs, asking for 10-15years experience,...and offering an amazing 14$/h rate.....ridiculous......anyway...would it matter a lot if i don't find the appropriate job for me here in the province, and I change my career anyway?

greetings,
and thanks a lot,

Hellooo lepatissier 07..

I wish you a Wonderful and Merry Christmas & Happy New Year..
I hope you're enjoying a lovely snow Christmas season over there..(till I join you there!)
Hope you get your residency approved so soon on 2012.

No need fro swiffer..they really don't mind working on dusty files Tongue
Jus kidding, do not worry..it won't take so much time..you'll proceed with your medical examination before March..

Well, my advice is to postpone the application for work permit extension to the latest date you can..so you may have space of time to receive any update on you residency file (which is hopefully well before March)

As for changing your career..to IT career..I would not really recommend you doing so..I do not want another competitor in my field Tongue
Again..I was just kidding..

Sure you can change your career as long as you possess the right qualifications & you can get a decent job.
(Actually I was relying on you for desserts Wink )

As well, you can move to any other province you like as a normal permanent resident of Canad.
So..it's all up to you.

Wish the very best of luck..

Have a wonderful time Wink

Hello c82,

Hope u r doing fine.

Yes u r surely eligible to apply for CSQ.
I see you qualification & that of your spouse...as well your preparation in French are great.

I would suggest you apply as the main applicant..as you're preparing for more advanced level in french which is better for the main applicant.
That way your wife will have to pass the IELTS as a supplementary requirement for the spouse (her preparation for level A2 will be great as well)

Please go ahead and apply as soon as you can, meanwhile..u will have to keep on workin on your french.

Wish you the best of luck.
(though I dont want more comptetion in my field Tongue....just kidding of course Cheesy)

Hello Friends, how are you all? Well this is my first post here.

I already apply for Quebec PR in November 2011 and I got my file number too. I just want to know when will they call me for an Interview or when will I get any updates from them.

I cleared my DELF A1 exam and preparing for DELF A2, I think A1 and A2 are enough for open my file / CSQ interview.

I got my 63 points including French Language point.

Awaiting for positive response.

Many thanks,
RBS.
