Do you come under the new rules which came into effect this year (2011)?

I applied through the Singapore office as well in March 2005. In July 2010, I was asked to undergo the medical examination. Because you have one year from the date of that medical examination (assuming all is well), to make the First Landing to get your PR card.

According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp#asia it is around 16 months in Singapore but if you go to trackitt.com you can look at other peoples timelines and compare to your own.  Still, no two cases are the same.

Hello there

On the cic website it sais that they received my application for permanent resident on 13 May 2011, but untill now nothing has changed not even that it is in process, i read all the posts on the home page and knew that after receiving the application by 2 months it will start to be in process, but this never hapened with my case.

My wife is Canadian and she is sponsoring me and i am in Lebanon.
Does anyone have any explanation for my problem? my lawyer in Canada said to me that we are waiting for the CSQ and that we already got the acceptance from Quebec but i am starting to have doubts about him.
